The video shows the process of disciplinary proceedings against judges. Disciplinary proceedings are initiated on the basis of a complaint or other information. Preliminary investigation is carried out by an independent inspector, who submits the conclusions prepared on the disciplinary case to the High Council of Justice of Georgia for consideration. Disciplinary liability and penalties are imposed on judges of the Common Courts for committing disciplinary misconduct. The issue of imposing a disciplinary sanction is considered by the Disciplinary Board Common Courts of Georgia. The superior body of Disciplinary Board is Disciplinary Chamber. The decision of the Disciplinary Chamber is final and can not be appealed.
