The presentation of the 2020 Annual report of the Office of Independent Inspector was held. Judge Renate Winter, and Independent Inspector Zurab Aznaurashvili addressed the invited guests with a welcoming speech.

During the presentation, the staff of the Office of Independent Inspector provided information to the public about the existing statistics, the generalization of the decisions and conclusions of the Independent Inspector, as well as the measures taken by the office, future plans, and introduced recommendations prepared based on the existing practice by the Independent Inspector’s Office.

Also, Eka Lomtatidze, an expert of the EU Judiciary Support Project, presented a guide about the grounds of disciplinary liability of judges.

The event was attended by members of the High Council of Justice of Georgia and Disciplinary board, representatives of international and non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders. After the presentation, the meeting was held in the format of a discussion.
