Qualifying rounds of the national competition “Judicial Conduct and Discipline” were held

The qualifying rounds of the national competition “Judicial Conduct and Discipline” lasted for two days. Eleven teams took part and challenged each other on both positions the complainant and the judge’s representative. They defended their positions before the different judges.

The national competition is a simulation of disciplinary proceedings against judges and is attended by students from leading higher education institutions throughout Georgia. The final stage of the competition will be held on December 12.

The first moot court on disciplinary proceedings are organized by the Office of the Independent Inspector, with the support of the High School of Justice and the Council of Europe Office in Georgia.
